Kelsey & Taylor | A Beautiful Wedding at Jimoru & Windellama Hall
There are some weddings that just feel like a really good party from the moment you arrive — relaxed, full of personality, surrounded by the people who matter most, and with plenty of moments that don't need to be planned.
Kelsey and Taylor's wedding was one of those days.
The celebrations began with Kelsey getting ready, surrounded by all the excitement and anticipation that comes with a wedding day. With her hair looked after by Brides by Ellyse and makeup by Kaarin Helmers Makeup, the finishing touches came together beautifully. Her dress from Heartland Brides Riverina completed the look, paired with shoes from Lane.
Taylor and the boys had their own preparations underway, with suits from The Stable Door and Johnny Bigg, ready for what was to come.
A Wedding at Jimoru
The ceremony took place at “Jimoru”, with Jo Halmer there as celebrant to help make the ceremony uniquely theirs.
While the formalities are an important part of any wedding, it is often the little moments surrounding them that become some of the most memorable. The nervous excitement beforehand, the laughs with family and friends, and that moment when everything suddenly becomes very real — these are the moments I love photographing.
And, of course, once Kelsey and Taylor were officially married, there was plenty of celebrating to do.
Windellama Hall
The reception moved to Windellama Hall, where the day continued in a wonderfully relaxed style.
With catering from Wandering Woodfire Oven, a Gee Whizz Ice Cream Van providing the sweet treats, and music from Harriet Lowe Music, the ingredients were all there for a fantastic night.
There is something special about a wedding reception at a country hall. Roaring Fires , casual atmosphere, it gives everyone the opportunity to relax, catch up, laugh, eat, dance and simply enjoy being together. It doesn't have to be overly formal or complicated — it just needs to feel like you.
And that's exactly what a wedding should be.
Capturing the Story
As the photographer for Kelsey and Taylor, my job was to capture the day as it unfolded — the big moments, the quiet ones, the laughs, the hugs, the happy tears and all those little things that are easy to miss when you're busy enjoying your own wedding.
I'm Steve from All Saints Photography Albury, and after many years photographing weddings, I still love the fact that every wedding has its own story.
Kelsey and Taylor's story was one filled with good people, plenty of happiness and a celebration that was completely their own.
Alongside the photography, Refined Moments was there to capture the day on video, creating another way for Kelsey and Taylor to relive those memories for years to come.
